On Tuesday, 4 February 2020, we took the plane from Düsseldorf Airport to Dublin Airport. In the afternoon we went shopping and bought cod, potatoes and vegetables to prepare our evening meal: fishfingers and mashed potatoes. Yum yum!!!
Wednesday was a busy day: GPO and Dublin Castle in the morning, Trinity College with the Books of Kells and the Long Room at noon, National Museum with the bog bodies in the afternoon. At the top of Grafton Street we saw a man singing to his guitar, Ed Sheeran also started his career there! For a typical tea time we went to one of the oldest cafés in Dublin, Bewley´s.
On Thursday we took the Dart to Bray, Dublin´s seaside where we went along the coast and saw the ruins of a nobleman´s house. In the afternoon we visited the Old Storehouse, a pub in Temple Bar with live singing. To make the day perfect we spent our last money going shopping: T-shirts, socks, shoes.
On Friday, 7 February 2020, we had to say goodbye to Dublin and we took the plane back to Düsseldorf.
